My uncles Tony and Miguel played in a band and listening to
them rehearse got me hooked.
By the time I was seven years old I was performing in clubs
and at parties with my cousin ‘Pino’ in his rock band. My
dad bought me a second-hand Ludwig, I still have the snare and
from then my love was music and playing the drums.
I started playing as everyone does with their friends but over
time I began to play with more and more famous people.
I studied at the famous Berklee College of Music in New York
with the likes of Horacio " El Negro"Hernandez,
Dennis Chambes, Dom Famularo and Chester Thompson.
As resident drummer for Warner Music [South America] this gave
me the opportunity to record sessions and tour with the likes
of Riki Martin, Shakira, Gloria Estefan. La Taorre, Manuela
Wult. La Mosca, Bisturi, La Demanda and Los Tulipanes.
My drumming took me all across North and South America often
playing in front of crowds as big as 160,000 people.
